Lifestyle Newborn Session
This style of newborn photography is best suited for families that love neutral, light tones, has space with a good amount of natural light, and appreciates the sweet, candid shots that are nearly impossible to replicate. These photos will be captured in the comfort of your home with two styles: photographing your family all snuggled up, loving on your baby, and some individual shots of your newborn.
Capture those first precious moments as a new family so you never lose sight of how it felt to experience something that is truly impossible to only describe through words.

FAQ
When should I schedule a newborn session?
Once I receive your inquiry, I will reach out to you within two business days to confirm availability and answer any questions that you have. Once your little one is born, we will pick a date on the calendar one to three weeks to follow.
How long should I expect my newborn session to run?
I let mama and baby set the pace, but I usually anticipate around two hours for the session. Frequent breaks for feeding, changing, etc. are to be expected and welcomed. We will always do what is best for mama and baby!
What can I do to prepare for my newborn session?
There are some things that you can do ahead of my arrival to help ensure that our session runs as smoothly as possible. Set your thermostat to a warmer temperature than typical (72-76 degrees), set out any items that you wish to have incorporated into your newborn photos (hospital tags, blankets, items of clothing, signs, or sentimental items). A happy baby always makes the best photos! To help with this, be sure that baby has a full belly, a fresh diaper, and tightly wrapped in a swaddle so he/she is happy, sleepy, and ready for snuggles!
Where in the home do you typically photograph?
I prefer to shoot in rooms that have the best natural lighting. I most commonly shoot in the living room, master bedroom, and nursery.
